We met years ago at a friend’s graduation party and enjoyed a few wonderful dates, but life nudged us in different directions and our story paused while we each figured a few things out.

Five years later, fate (and a small bar called Jimmy’s) brought us back together—an amusing coincidence, since Jimmy is also Emily’s oldest brother’s name. From that night on, we’ve been inseparable.

Since reconnecting, we’ve built a life full of love and laughter: our sweet baby boy, countless memories, and Ace Boogie—Justin’s dog who has since been officially claimed by Emily as one of her own. What once felt like bad timing became the start of our best chapter yet, a reminder that some stories simply need a brief intermission.

We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding on March 6, 2027 in Orange, Virginia with the family and friends who mean the most to us.
